SILK PRODUCTS FOR T.SILK PADDING

T.Silk® products offer an unparalleled experience of comfort. Perfect thermoregulators, they maintain the body temperature inside a garment within a comfortable range. What makes T.Silk® so exceptional — besides the fact that it is completely natural, biological and compatible with the skin — is that it is a genuine thermal laboratory able to ensure a high level of heat without accumulation: the heat produced is retained and excess heat is quickly released to the environment, avoiding vapor/sweat absorption and preventing chills.

Silk. The material of the future
Silk as a material has enormous potential, and while some of it features are known other are yet to be discovered and developed.
Cosetex’s experience and research on fibre led the company to seek collaborations and come up with rather specific projects in fields that per se fall outside the textile field:

  • Sericin in cosmetics;
  • Lyophilized fibroin and gel in biomedical field;
  • Use of fibroin in production of medical devices;
  • Taking advantage of strength of the structural elements in silk which is superior to Kevlar;
  • Silk as a biomaterial and its stabilizing properties.
